The brakes are stiffer than most of the competitors and require both sides to be pressed in order to get full brake engagement. Overall the quality of the 3D Lite is decent for its price. It's superior to the budget-friendly Kolcraft Cloud Plus, but not as good as some of the more expensive rivals.
